Definitions for "Bowen's Disease"
Red scaly plaque-like skin tumor which is potentially malignant but is not yet able to metastasize. The atypical tumor cells are still confined to the epidermis. If they transgress the basal membrane, the tumor has developed into a malignant Bowen carcinoma. Related links
