Definitions for "Bogue"
a channel of water that flows between two land formations; the channels which run between the mangrove cayes in the Drowned Cayes: e.g. Sugar Bogue, Bannister Bogue, Hushner Bogue.
To fall off from the wind; to edge away to leeward; -- said only of inferior craft.
A long, round fish (cylindrical) fish, with large eyes, silver-grey colored back, fine horizontal dull gold lines and an off-white belly. It weighs up to about 600 grams.
