Bodmin (Cornish: Bosvenegh) is a town in Cornwall, England, with a population of 12,778 (2001 census). It was the county town of Cornwall, until the Crown Courts moved to Truro, which is also the administrative centre. It is in the North Cornwall district.
Bodmin was a parliamentary constituency in Cornwall which returned two Members of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom until the 1868 general election, when its representation was reduced to one member. It was abolished for the 1983 general election.
