Bhind (Hindi-भिंड) is a town in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The town is the headquarters of Bhind District, and is located in the Chambal Division. It is named after the mythological Hindu saint Vibhandak Rishi or Bhindi Rishi.
Bhind is a gotra of Jats found in Punjab and Rajasthan in India. They are from the Tanvar Gotra, but as they came from Bhind part of Gwalior, they came to be called Bhind.
