Banpresto, a spin-off of Bandai, is the main supplier of prizes for the numerous games of chance that fill Japanese video-game arcades. They also produce videogame software based on Bandai's character licenses for both arcade cabinets and home systems.
A subsidiary of Bandai that produced prize items for game machines. Banpresto cards could be oversized (Banpresto Jumbo), PP card size, or miniature ("Character Twin" cards). Produced for Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball Z, Slam Dunk and others.   Jumbo Banpresto cards are sometimes considered a type of shitajiki (though they are made of cardboard, while shitajiki are generally plastic).
Japanese game development firm founded April 1977. It was purchased by and became a wholly owned subsidy of Namco Bandai Holdings, Inc. in March 2006.
