Definitions for "Band Pass Filter"
A filter which allows only a selected band of frequencies to pass through while rejecting all other frequencies above and below the cutoff point. Usually a bandpass filter will allow the user to set the width of the passband.
BPF - A reactive circuit which rejects signals whose frequencies are outside of its passband 3 dB point frequencies and propagates signals whose frequencies are within B189the 3 dB point frequencies.
A circuit that will allow signals within a desired frequency band to pass through but prohibits signals outside this frequency band from penetrating.
