Authorization Code A number used for security purposes to gain access to an Interexchange Carrier's network. Authorization codes are inherently required for all Feature Group-A and Feature Group-B Circuits without ANI reporting. Authorization codes are also required for Travel Service and Cut-Through capabilities on Feature Group-D circuits.
