Definitions for "Antifoam"
A substance that prevents foam generation, e.g., in jet dyeing machines, or causes its collapse, e.g., in print pastes.
Any material added to a floor polish to control foam. Most commonly used substances are silicone emulsions.
Additive used to suppress the foaming tendency of lubricants in service. Improper amounts of antifoam will lead to air entrapment which also leads to lubrication problems.
