An area separated from the clean room where supplies are unpacked and disinfected for storage. Also where hand sanitizing and gowning occurs. An ante area is separated from the controlled area by a physical wall in high-risk areas (medium and low-risk areas do require an ante area, but it does not need to be a separate room).
