A fictional planet from Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series, Anacreon is one of the most important worlds in the galactic periphery prior to the fall of the Galactic Empire.
Anacreon is a DOS computer game originally written by George Moromisato, and published by TMA in 1988. The game's theme was galactic conquest, with the setting strongly inspired by Isaac Asimov's Foundation series of novels. It is considered one of the better computer strategy games, and is an example of the 4 X genre of computer games (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate).
