Easy of access or approach; approachable; as, an accessible town or mountain, an accessible person.

If families can immediately locate affordable respite care services in their communities in the option, type, and times needed then the services are said to be "accessible." Accessibility is frequently more difficult in geographic areas where less providers exist or where funding is insufficient to meet the need.
This term is used to describe monuments which are accessible to visit from a public road. This does not necessarily mean that permission is allowed, just if it is possible without too much physical effort to get to the monument.
