Definitions for "Acceptance Certificate"
A form forwarded to Procurement Services by the supplier after they have installed IT equipment at a site. Procurement Services allow for a minimum of five business days to pass before authorising the certificate and sending it on to Macquarie IT. This enables time for a Cost Centre to report, by exception, on any problems. Macquarie IT use this as authority to pay the supplier on settlement day for the goods.
(Certificate of Acceptance or Delivery and Acceptance) A document whereby the lessee acknowledges that the equipment to be leased has been delivered, is acceptable, and has been manufactured or constructed according to specification. When this document is executed the lease commences which signals to the lessor that they can make payment to the vendor.
Lessee's acknowledgement that the equipment to be leased has been received and is in satisfactory condition.
